Pitch to Scale: Turning Investor Conversations into Real Momentum
On 5th Feb, we hosted another Pitch to Scale event, part of our new quarterly series built to support ambitious founders as they move from scaling their business to raising funding.
The idea behind Pitch to Scale is simple. Give founders the chance to pitch live to a trusted investor audience, get honest feedback, and start the kinds of conversations that actually help move a business forward.
This is not about perfect slides or rehearsed soundbites. It is about clarity, readiness and momentum.
Even though this quarterly series has only just started, we are already seeing real impact. Investor and founder conversations are continuing well beyond the event itself. Founders are engaging fractional executive support to tackle gaps identified on the day. And just as importantly, founders are connecting with each other, sharing experiences and building relationships with people facing similar scaling challenges.
“The value wasn't just in pitching. It was in the conversations that followed with investors, the clarity it created, and the relationships formed with other founders facing the same challenges.”
Tony Dignam, CEO, Agile Executives

Why Pitch to Scale works
Pitching at Pitch to Scale is about much more than getting time in front of investors.
Founders who pitch at these quarterly events get the chance to:
- Pitch live to Irish VCs, angel investors and Enterprise Ireland stakeholders
- Tell their growth story to people who make real funding decisions
- Get direct feedback that helps sharpen both the pitch and the plan
- Join our investor database, extending visibility beyond the event
- Build relationships that can genuinely unlock the next phase of growth
For many founders, the biggest value comes from the thinking it forces. It helps clarify what matters most, where the gaps are, and what needs to be strengthened before the next investor conversation.
Readiness makes the difference
One thing is already very clear. Access alone is not enough.
Founders who perform best in investor rooms are the ones who have done the work in advance. They know their numbers, understand their funding options, and are clear on how they will execute as they scale.
That is why Pitch to Scale is designed to work alongside the other event in our quarterly series, Get Funding Ready and Scale Smart.
This event focuses on helping founders:
- Understand what funding they are actually eligible for
- Build solid, credible financial models
- Identify and close funding gaps
- Strengthen their pitch and growth story
- Put the right execution capability in place before scaling
For most founders, Get Funding Ready and Scale Smart is the best place to start before stepping onto the Pitch to Scale stage.
